Overview
The Lecco Hiking Centre project explored how an existing building could support a new public program with a stronger relationship to the landscape and mountain-sports culture. The team developed an adaptive-reuse strategy that reorganized access and circulation, clarified old and new construction, and used the envelope to establish a renewed identity. The work centers on the transformation logic and coordinated technical relationship between retained structure, intervention, circulation, and public use.
