About

Across evidence, systems, and space.

Ramyar Tajik is an Architectural Engineering Ph.D. candidate working at the intersection of building science, human health, environmental sensing, occupant behavior, and intelligent building systems.

His research translates environmental measurements into information people can understand and use, while a design background keeps those systems connected to spatial experience, construction, and the realities of buildings.

His dissertation, LuxRest, investigates the field feasibility of a personal circadian-supportive light measure-to-action system. Earlier work spans adaptive shading, daylight, energy, thermal comfort, architecture, and urban regeneration.
